�o <br />MINUTES C <br />' Monday, August 25, 2003 Meeting <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />City of Paris, Texas <br />Santa Fe- Frisco Depot, 1125 Bonham St. <br />s Chamber of Commerce Room <br />Item One: The meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, at 4:07 PM. <br />Item Two: The roll was called by Paul Denney, Recording Secretary. The following Commission <br />members were present: - <br />Arvin Starrett <br />Ann Rogers <br />Paul Denney <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Jerry Raper <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Barbara Wilson <br />Beeki Norment <br />The following Commission members were absent: <br />Linda Ryan <br />No guests were present. <br />A quorum was present. <br />Item Three: The August 5, 2003 minutes were approved as read. Ann Rogers made a motion to <br />approve the minutes. Barbara Wilson seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. <br />Item Four: Arvin Starrett called the public hearing to order regarding the possible designation of the <br />Santa Fe- Frisco Depot, 1125 Bonham Street, as a stand -alone historic landmark. No property owners or <br />citizens were present. Chairman Starrett then declared the public hearing closed. <br />Item Five: A motion was made by Barbara Wilson that the Historic Preservation Commission formally <br />recommend to the Planing and Zoning Commission adoption of the Santa Fe- Frisco Depot as a <br />stand -alone historic landmark. Ann Rogers seconded the mction and the motion passed unanimously. ft <br />was noted that this recommendation would be passed on to the: Planning and Zoning Commission for <br />another public hearing and possible action. ' <br />Item Six: Several suggestions of possible new members for the Historical Preservation Commission <br />were discussed. A motion was made by Paul Denney to table the item.
