MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />PARIS JUNIOR COLLEGE <br />BOBBY R. WALTERS APPLIED TECHNOLOGY BUILDING, ROOM 1206 <br />WEST ENTRANCE <br />2400 CLARKSVILLE STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2004 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 12:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Paul Denney, Acting Secretary <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Alternates: Brian Wear <br />Becki Norment <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Ann Rodgers <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Jerry Raper <br />Barbara Wilson <br />C. Also present were Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, Bill <br />Payne, and Linda Ridder. <br />2. Consideration of and action on temporarily suspending the requirements of <br />Article Vll, Section 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Paris Historic <br />Preservation Commission of the City of Paris. These are the notification and <br />timing rules. Motion was made to temporarily suspend the requirements of <br />the Rules of Procedure by Paul Denney, seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />3. Discussion ofand possible action on approving the following Applications for <br />Hardship and Certificates of Appropriateness: <br />A. Linda and Bill Payne - 105 E. Sherman Street. Motion was made to <br />approve the hardship application by Brian Wear, seconded by Paul <br />Denney. <br />
