Discussion of and possible action on setting regular and special bi- monthly <br />meetings of the Historic Preservation Commission. The ordinance calls for <br />monthly meetings, but the Commission can also meet more often than <br />monthly to take care of the needs of the Commission. A meeting has been <br />scheduled for noon on Friday. <br />11. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. <br />A. Budget request for facade grants. The request for a facade grant has <br />gone into a line item, City Council account. <br />B. Other financial incentives. Information received from Robert Johnson <br />with the Texas Historic Commission regarding tax abatement in historic <br />districts was distributed to the Commission. The Historic Preservation <br />Officer has received three (3) applications for COA's. <br />12. Request items from Board forfuture agendas. The Commission is to consider <br />accepting the proposal of ArchiTexas for preparation of design guidelines. <br />Barbara Wilson requested an action item on 11 -B. A report on demolition by <br />neglect is requested, whether or not it fits into the Downtown Historic District <br />or residential or both. <br />13.
