The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 4:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Barbara Wilson, Vice - Chairman <br />Paul Denney <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Jerry Raper <br />Alternates: Brian Wear <br />Becki Norment (arrived at 5:30) <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Ann Rodgers <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />from October 14, 2002, May 24, 2004, and June 9, 2004, was made by Sue <br />Lancaster, seconded by Claudia Hunt. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />3. Discussion of and possible action on approving and adopting the 13 Most <br />Endangered Properties Listfor2004 and authorizing the Historic Preservation <br />Officer to register such properties in the Historic Endangered Landmark <br />Program (HELP) under the Texas Historical Commission. The Commission <br />selected the following properties for inclusion in the list: <br />A. 1970 Clarksville Street (Early House) <br />B. 21 Lamar Avenue (Grand Theater) <br />C. 37 Clarksville Street (former Automatic Gas building) <br />D. 123 S. Main Street (former Alexander's Book Store) <br />E. 504 Lamar Avenue (Miramar Apartments) <br />F. 308 S. Main Street (YWCA) <br />G. 260 S. Main Street (Belford Apartments) <br />
