Chairman Starrett stated that some of the worst buildings in the downtown were owned by the City of Paris, such as the McDonald building and the old Paris News building. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO reported on the following items: A. COA Violation Notices: (1) Gulf Station - They have repainted back to the previous color. (2) TechTronics (next door) - They have repainted back to the previous color. (3) Jay Firsching - At the last meeting, Jay mentioned that Ft. Worth's ordinance allows them to make people repaint when they don't get or don't follow a COA. The HPO asked Jay to send me a copy of the ordinance so that we can get that wording into ours.
