MINUTES <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY HALL WEST ANNEX <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />150 1ST STREET S.E. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2004 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting was called to order by Vice - <br />Chairman Barbara Wilson at 12:05 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Paul Denney <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Alternate: Brian Wear <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Ann Rodgers, Secretary <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Jerry Raper <br />Alternate: Becki Norment <br />C. Also present were Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, and <br />Lindsey Harper, Main Street Manager. <br />2. Discussion of and possible action on approving the following Certificates of <br />Appropriateness: <br />A. Beverly Pendleton - 24 West Plaza - Mr. Denney advised the <br />Commission this was a request on work already done, but revised. <br />Motion to approve the revised construction was made by Paul Denney, <br />seconded by Barbara Wilson. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />B. Police Athletic League -122 and 138 Lamar Avenue - Motion to table at <br />the request of the applicant was made by Paul Denney, seconded by <br />Sue Lancaster. Motion carried 4 -0. <br />3. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO reported on <br />the following: <br />A. Violation Notices: <br />
