MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />CITY HALL WEST ANNEX <br />CONFERENCE ROOM <br />150 1ST STREET S.E. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2004 <br />4:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission Meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett at 4:00 P.M. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Barbara Wilson, Vice - Chairman <br />Ann Rodgers, Secretary <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Paul Denney <br />Jerry Raper <br />Alternate: Brian Wear (arrived at 4:05 p.m.) <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Alternate: Becki Norment <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />from the March 30, 2004; June 28, 2004; July 14, 2004; October 18, 2004; and <br />October 25, 2004 meetings was made by Barbara Wilson, seconded by Sue <br />Lancaster. Motion carried 8 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />A. 2251st Street S.E. - Don Wilson - Motion was made to excuse Barbara <br />Wilson from the meeting, seconded by Brian Wear. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />Mrs. Wilson advised that the material would not be "R" panel like that <br />in the sample photo. Mr. Denney asked if they would limit the ribs to 1" <br />maximum, and Mrs. Wilson stated they would. Motion to approve the <br />COA with the condition that the ribs be not more than 1" standing <br />seams, seconded by Sue Lancaster. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />Motion to allow Barbara Wilson to return to the meeting was made by <br />Sue Lancaster, seconded by Jerry Raper. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />
