REGULAR MLIETING MINUTES <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRE SEL�VATION COMMISSION <br />CITY CQUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 EAST KAUFMAN <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />WEDNESD_AY <br />, januaEy 10, 2018,4:00 PM <br />Chris DLIX, Chairman Absent: <br />Sarah Barbee David Alarid. <br />Randy Hider, Secretary <br />Glee Emmite <br />Linda Vandiver <br />Matthew Coyle <br />Cheri Bedford- IIPO <br />Linda Knox, Council Liaison <br />Chairman Dux called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br />A motion was called to approve minutes of the December 13, 2017 meeting by <br />Commissioner Vandiver, seconded by Commissioner Ennnite, inotion carried 6-0 <br />Commissioner Barbee made a motion no items should be pulled individually from the following <br />list presented by Code enforcement as a substandard structure, and that items A, B, C, D and E <br />cannot be rehabilitated or designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded <br />Texas Historic l...,andmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of <br />Paris. Motions was seconded by Commissioner Vandiver. Motion carried 6-0. <br />A. <br />240 NW 5th <br />B. <br />600 BLK of W Sherman <br />C. <br />115 NW 13th <br />D. <br />141 NW 252h <br />E. <br />151 NW 25th <br />Chairman Dux reviewed minutes from a previous commission discussing fencing of alleys as <br />well as other recommended changes that need investigated and put online in a way that is <br />searchable. <br />Cheri infc)rmed the commission that she had learned from the City Manager the proper <br />protocol for changes to the Design Standards was to take them to City Council for approval. <br />However., the first step is for City Council to officially adopt the Design Standards.
