MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />March 12, 2018 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 pm. on Monday, <br />March 12, 2018, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor: Steven Clifford <br />Council Members: Billie Sue Lancaster; Billy Trenado; Cleonne <br />Drake; and Paula Portugal <br />City Staff: John Godwin, City Manager-; Stephanie Harris, City <br />Attorney; Janice Ellis, City Clerk; Gene Anderson, <br />Finance Director; Bob Hundley, Police Chief, Larry <br />Wright, Fire Chief-, Carla Easton, City Engineer; <br />Jerry McDaniel, Public Works Director; Alan <br />Efrussy, Planning Director; Doug Harris, Utilities <br />Director; Kent Klinkerman, EMS Director; Priscilla <br />McAnally, Library Director; and Clyde Crews; Fire <br />Marshal <br />Absent: Council Members: Aaron Jenkins & Linda Ynox. <br />Opening AZe da,'�� <br />Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor Clifford called the meeting to order at 530 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Finance Director Gene Anderson gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Drake led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens' Forurn. <br />Judy Malone, 1975 E. Cherry Street - she said there was an incident in which a city truck <br />pumped water and sewer through the lines and both her toilets exploded with sewer. She also <br />said the city crew helped her clean up the bathrooms. Ms. Malone said the real problem was <br />with the ditch between Cherry and Tudor, one block off of 20"' Street. She said over the years <br />the ditch had become deeper and was full of debris. She also said there was sewer floating down <br />the ditch. <br />
