(JanuarY 2, 201 8) <br />Motion was made by Louise Hagood, seconded by Deanna Manning to approve minutes <br />for the December 5, 2017 meeting, Motion carried 5-0. <br />3, Public hearing to consider of card take action on the petition oj'Michelle Gilc,5, on Lot 10, <br />11, 12A, Block 176, being located at 451 SW 3rd Street, <br />The, petition requested a variance of Section 11.5-3 (b)(1)(a) of' the Fence Ordinance which <br />provides as follows: <br />(b) Fence heights: <br />(1) Front yard, nce requirements, <br />a. No fence shall be permitted in the front yard with the fol lowing exceptions: <br />1. On lots zoned historic overlay district (HD) and in accordance with the design <br />standards adopted by the historic preservation commission. <br />ii. On lots in excess of two (2), acres in size which are used for single-family <br />residential purposes, <br />ill. On lots which are zoned and used for Ll or HI purposes, <br />The applicant is proposing to install a front yard fence at 451 SW 31" Street. This property is not <br />located in the historic overlay district, the lot does not exceed two (2) acres and is not zoned for <br />industrial purposes. The applicant is requesting a variance to allow a front yard fence at 451 SW 3"1 <br />Street, <br />
