Approve minutes from the meeting of March 12, 201. 8. <br />6. Receive reports and/or minutes from the following boards, commissions, and committees: <br />a. Airport Advisory Board (2-15-2018) <br />b. Love Civic Center (1-11-2018,) <br />c. Historic Preservation Commission (2-14-2018) <br />7. Receive February monthly financial report. <br />S. Receive February drainage report. <br />9. Receive demolition and code enforcement activity reports, <br />10. Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2018-010: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING A JOINT ELECTION <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND NORTH LAMAR <br />INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE MAY 5, 2018 ELECTION DATE; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />11. Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2018-011: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PROCLAMATION DECLARING <br />THE MONTH OF APRIL AS FAIR HOUSING MONTH; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Rej_4u]ar Agenda <br />12. Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract for professional engineering and <br />surveying services with IDSA for the 17"' and 24"' Street Reconstruction Project, in an <br />amount not to exceed $300,000. <br />City Manager John Godwin said that East 17'1' and 24"' Southeast were scheduled to be <br />fully reconstructed beginning in fall 2018. He also said that prior to construction, engineering <br />design needed to be provided by an outside firrn and staff had negotiated a professional services <br />agreement for $283,,700. <br />Council Member Drake inquired if 24ti` Street would be done in sections or all at one <br />time. Mr. Godwin said the street would be done in, sections and that the two streets would not be <br />under construction at the same time. <br />
