It was determined that item A. 129 Washington and B. 631 E Washington cannot <br />be rehabilitated or designated on the National Register of Historic places, Recorded Texas <br />landmark or City of 1Paris local landmark. <br />Richard Drake and Bobby Sinallit,00d returned and asked if the item 3B could be <br />reintroduced, The commission agreed and the item was reintroduced, Mr. Smallwood <br />asked ifthe commission would be opposed to adding a walk through door to the side of `tire <br />garage door, This door would shift the garage door to one, side and the walk through door <br />would be added. This would cotnpleteivfill the existing opening. The commissioner had no <br />opposition to the entry <br />door in place of wood as long as it was made of powder coated <br />aluminum .and matched the style of the garage door, <br />Commissioner Barbee asked the commission if she could share a few things that she had concerns <br />about in downtown. She asked if there was an ordinance that required utilities be connected to a <br />property if it is being used for storage. Commissioner Dux said he had to, go through a process to <br />get utilities turned on when he bought his building and started renovations. Commissioner Barbee <br />expressed her frustration with building being allowed to dilapidate, windows left with broken <br />glass, and/or being used for storage, and how much it is hurting efforts to revitalize. <br />The commission reviewed the sub -committee's proposed changes to the design standards and <br />made some minor changes for clarification in regards to window replacement, painting of brick, <br />and fencing in commercial district. Commissioner Dux asked for another month to review the <br />standards for any additional change or clarifications they might need to consider, before they ask <br />council to adopt them. <br />Cheri Bedford asked the commission if they had a chance to contact property owners for <br />
