Chairman Dux called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting (March 14, 2018) Chairman Dux noted a <br />typo on page 2 to be corrected; the minutes were approved by acclamation. <br />3. Consideration and action on 255 1" SW- replacement garage doors - <br />Mike Kennedy presented the project in the place qf'Man4n Gorley. He explained a new <br />business is moving into the building, and there was a need to rehabilitate building by replacing <br />the existing garage doors made ql'mismatched sheet metal. The proposed doors are being <br />fabricated to replicate the original garage doors on the building. The will be constructed with <br />in kind materials of wood, metal and glass. The commission reviewed pictures of proposed <br />doors, original doors, and the location where the new doors will be hung. Chairman Dux <br />asked the commission ifthey had a)ay other questions, and calledfir a motion. Commissioner <br />Emmite made a motion to approve the Certificate QI'appropriateness as presented, motion <br />seconded by Commissioner Coyle, motion carried 5. <br />Mr. Kennedy asked the commission if he could add an addendum. Ile explained there was <br />a large door opening on the south side wall ofthe building. The opening been filled in with <br />bricks at some time in the past. The owners would like to remove the brick and replace the <br />opening with another door that will be fabricated exactly like the doors proposed in the <br />current Certificate qfoppropriateness. Commissioner Dux asked the commission if they had <br />any questions and called for a motion. Glee made the motion to add the addendum to the <br />approved of the Certificate qI'appropriateness,/br approval, Commissioner Hider seconded, <br />inotion carried 5 -- 0. <br />
