<br />SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION FOR eONTRAeTING WITH FAMILY HAVEN <br /> <br />Family Haven is the only known shelter for battered women in Paris and/or <br />Lamar County, Texas. It serves as the center for safety and assistance to the <br />victims of domestic violence. Family Haven is very pro-active in their work and the <br />Paris Police Department has a good working relationship with them. They have both <br />full-time and volunteer counselors and employees dedicated to the reduction of <br />domestic violence. <br />
