Public hearing declared closed. <br />Chad Lindsey states there has been a lot of legitimate concerns brought up. Lindsey states he <br />doesn't doubt that Fitzgerald would do what he says he would do but in twenty years from now <br />someone could come in and knock the quadplexes down to build apartments. That is his <br />concern with the multi -family zoning. He states if this was the other zoning (4F) to be <br />discussed later on this agenda he would be more comfortable with this. <br />James O'Bryan states we need good quality housing but quadplexes are too intense for this <br />area. <br />Motion was made by James O'Bryan, seconded by John Lee to deny the zoning change. <br />Motion carried 5-1. with. Norment Sims opposing. <br />7. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding an amendment to Section S of Appendix <br />C of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Paris Texas, more specifically to revise the def nitions <br />of Tattooing and Tattoo Parlor to exclude permanent makeup from said definitions. <br />John Godwin states the zoning ordinance requires additional language to be inserted to <br />separate permanent makeup from traditional forms and uses of tattooing. Godwin recommends <br />amending the tattooing definitions to the city council in order to ensure businesses wishing to <br />provide permanent makeup are not required to seek zoning changes. <br />Public hearing declared open. <br />No one spoke in favor nor against. <br />Public hearing declared closed. <br />Motion made by Keith Flowers and seconded by Mihir Pankaj to approve the amendment to <br />Section 8 of Appendix C of the Zoning Ordinance revising the definitions of Tattooing and <br />Tattoo Parlor to exclude permanent makeup from the definitions. Motion carried 6-0. <br />
