WHEREAS, on or about November 2, 2018, the Historic Preservation Commission <br />approved certain further amendments and clarifications to the Design Standards with <br />respect to fencing; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the amendments to the Design Standards for the Historic Districts <br />of the City of Paris, Texas, attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by <br />reference relating to windows, bricks and fencing are hereby adopted in their totality. <br />Section 2. That a copy of said Exhibit A shall be appended to the existing Design <br />Standards adopted in Ordinance No. 2018-016 and, pursuant to Section 4 of each of the <br />following ordinances, shall be included in the Design Standards attached to said <br />ordinances: <br />Ordinance No. 2003-023 (Downtown Historical Overlay District, otherwise known <br />as HD-1); <br />Ordinance No. 2003-045 (The Paris Santa Fe -Frisco Depo Property, otherwise <br />known as HD -3); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-021 (HD -2, Church Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-022 (HD -4, 714 Graham Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-023 (HD -5, 623 61h Street SE); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-024 (HD -6, 1970 Clarksville St.); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-025 (HD -7, 429 Graham Street; 410, 428, and 440 W. Kaufman <br />Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-026 (HD -8, 357 W. Kaufman Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-031 (HD -9, 625 Washington Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-032 (HD -10,1033 Bonham Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-033 (HD -11, 744 3rd Street NW); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-034 (HD -12, 2006 Bonham St.); <br />Ordinance No. 2004-054 (HD -13, also known as Downtown Historic Overlay District <br />No. 2, 561 Clarksville Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2005-064 (HD -14, 546 Pine Bluff Street); <br />Ordinance No. 2007-025 (HD -15,418 W. Washington St.); <br />Ordinance No. 2012-031 (726 W. Sherman St., otherwise known as HD -16); and <br />Ordinance No. 2014-016 (60 Sycamore St., otherwise known as HD -17) <br />Section 3. That all provisions of the ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas in conflict <br />with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, and all other provisions of the <br />ordinances of the City of Paris not in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />Section 4. That the repeal of any ordinance or part of ordinances affected by the <br />enactment of this ordinance shall not be construed as abandoning any action now pending <br />under or by virtue of such ordinance or as discontinuing, abating, modifying, or altering <br />
