Other features of <br />the interactive map program were noted. <br />• Several properties are available for sale/rent downtown including properties by Janet Green and Nancy Anderson. <br />• Five grants are ready to be presented. Two are from Main Street BIG, and three are from the Historical <br />Preservation Committee. <br />• Second Street SW and NW has been returned to a two-way street for the benefit of downtown. <br />• Farmers Market promotions are underway. Laura Graves, a director of 4-H at Texas Department of Agriculture <br />Extension office, will be helping promote children's programs and contests at the Farmers Market that opens May <br />4''. Cheri Bedford encouraged board members to attend the 2019 opening. <br />• The Paris City Council approved the mural ordinance which details new requirements and restrictions. <br />• Paris Bakery opened at its new location. The Blind Pig, a new business, will open in March. <br />• Cheri Bedford will attend the National Main Street Conference in Seattle March 23-28. Texas will host the <br />conference in 2020. The Main Street board will make a short video to be shown in Seattle as part of the welcome to <br />Texas in 2020. <br />• Texas Furniture will be awarded the 50 Year Texas Treasure Award at the City Council meeting March 11". <br />• Church Street is still under construction. <br />5. Jane Helberg made a motion to adjourn, second by Shelley McDowell, motion carried.
