4. Consent agenda: The properties located at A. 16 E Washington, B. 845 E Washington C. <br />1400 Cedar, D. 133 NE 8th. Chairman Dux opened the floor for questions. There was a brief <br />discussion how to salvage the valuable historic building materials from the property on 8th <br />SE. Hearing no other discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Lazar recommending <br />the houses continue the process with the Building and Standards Commission. It was <br />determined the properties have no significant ties to the history of Paris and cannot be <br />rehabilitated, designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas <br />Historic Landmark, or eligible as historic property as designated by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Vandiver, Motion carried. <br />5. HPO report— Cheri Bedford gave the Certificate of Appropriateness report to the <br />commission and will send a copy for their records. Cheri also shared some up and coming <br />events for March and April information on the Texas Capital fund sidewalk grant for N. <br />Main, and the Plant a Tree program. <br />6. A motion was made by Commissioner Hider to adjourn at 4:45 p.m., Seconded by <br />Commissioner Coyle, Motion carried <br />Immediately after the meeting the Commission met with Janet and Keith Green and presented <br />them with their two $2,500 matching facade grant for properties located at 17 Clarksville and <br />21 Clarksville St. <br />Rn <br />Chairman <br />2019 <br />
