MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2019 <br />I. Call meetinw to order. <br />Meeting called to order at 5:31 p.m. All members were present except for Scott Avery. <br />Also present were Jerry Richey and Brandi Ebbs from JR Aviation; staff members John <br />Godwin, Lance Nicholson and Triniti Frazier. <br />2. Citizens input. <br />None <br />3. Consider a <br />1proval of minutes fromwJanuary 17,,,,2019 regular meeting. <br />Meyers moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Taylor. Motion carried 6.0. <br />4. Discussion regarding, delinquent hangar rentals. <br />Board reviewed and discussed the provided list. Board requests delinquent notice sent to <br />Jimmy Smyers and Aaron Hiller. <br />5. Discussandtake actionwwon revisin ,,git wowned hangar„leases. <br />Board reviewed and discussed the provided list. Board members recommend approving the <br />revisions with an amendment to item 8 allowing a two-tier system for City of Paris primary <br />residents to have preference then Lamar County residents. The existing waiting list will be <br />grandfathered and those outside Lamar County will be treated as Lamar County residents. <br />Motion was made by Brad Meyers, seconded by David Taylor to approve the revisions <br />with said amendment to item 8. Motion carried 5-1 with Anna Spencer in opposition. <br />6. Discuss and take action on enforcing the provisions of hangar leases. <br />Board reviewed and discussed the provided list. <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by David Taylor to approve items 1-3 and <br />eliminate item 4. Motion carried 6-0. <br />7. Discuss and take action on revised hanjarrental_rates. <br />Board reviewed and discussed revised hangar rental rates provided. Godwin advised that <br />Richey and Nicholson did a survey and the rental rates presented are the recommended <br />rates. Godwin advised the rate will go to City Council in the beginning of March.
