historic transoms window were not intact, so he planned on recreating them. <br />Commissioner Dux recommended reviewing the design standards before building the <br />transom windows, and that the transom windows could add to the organization and <br />rhythm of the display windows if they were to align mullions with the lower floor <br />windows and doors. Mr. Harcrow agreed and then asked about the glass and windows <br />materials. Commissioner Dux recommended he contact HPO when he was ready to <br />purchase the glass as the design standards prohibit heavily tinted or reflective glass. Mr. <br />Harcrow will rebuild one large tie rod canopy as presented. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Hider to approve the rehabilitation as <br />presented. Commissioner Lazar seconded, and motion carried 6-0 <br />4. Carl Harcrow requested a grant of $2500 for rehabilitation project on 240 Bonham. <br />Commissioner Emmite made a motion to approve, seconded by Commissioner Coyle. <br />Motion carried 6-0 <br />5. The commission reviewed the list of structures with Code Enforcement violations located at <br />A.1330 SE 8`h, B. 3200 Clarksville ST (three trailer houses), and C. 334 NE 17th ST. A <br />motion was made by Commissioner Emmite determining these structures cannot be <br />rehabilitated and designated on the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas <br />Historic Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of <br />Paris, seconded by Commissioner Vandiver, motion carried unanimously. <br />6. HPO report: Preservation Month Activities were discussed and imagine the Possibilities <br />tours. The quarterly meeting for the Texas Historical Commission will be held in Paris July <br />17 & 18, 2019. The Church Street Historic District meet and greet subcommittee discussed <br />dates and location for the event. The committee planned on meeting on May 20, 2019. The <br />Texas Main Street program Mangers Meeting will be held in Mt. Pleasant in June. Details <br />on up and coming events were given to the commission. <br />7.
