The FAA is currently overlaying all
existing non-precision approaches with GPS approaches and expects this process to be complete
within a year. In addition, the FAA is designing stand-alone GPS approaches for those airports
with no existing approach as long as they meet the necessary clearance criteria.

Any sponsors wishing to receive a stand-alone GPS approach should submit a written request to
the TxDOT Aviation Division as soon as possible or fill in the bottom of this letter and return it to
us. This will then be forwarded to the FAA_

If you have any questions or need additional information, please call Linda Howard of my staff.

:5yr/~

David S.
