SPECIAL MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />PARIS TEXAS <br />TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 10,_2019 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by David Hamilton, <br />Chairman at 12: 00 p. m. <br />The following members were present: David Hamilton, Brady Fisher, <br />Benny Plata, Louise Hagood and Ruth Ann Alsobrook. <br />Also present was Stephanie Harris, Carla Easton, John Ankrum and <br />concerned citizens. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (June 18, 2019) <br />Motion was made by Ruth Ann Alsobrook, seconded by Louise Hagood to approve <br />minutes for the June 181h, 2019 meeting. Motion carried 5:0. <br />3. Public hearing to consider and take action on the petition of Jeff White on Lot <br />12, City Block A, Johnson Woods Park subdivision, being located at 2925 Margaret <br />Street. <br />The petition requested a variance of Section 9-600 of the Zoning Ordinance which <br />provides as follows: <br />(1) Schedule minimum side yards- Residential districts. <br />Five (5) feet required in each side yard. <br />The applicant is requesting a variance of two (2) feet for the required side yard on <br />an existing home. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />
