RESOLUTION NO. 92-064 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City approve Map Resource, Inc., to prepare and submission of a plan of redistricting to the Department of Justice; and, of Paris, did assist in the United States WHEREAS, the services to be provided are initial evaluation which includes a review and written evaluation of the City's Charter and related voting laws and ordinances which will affect redistricting; a narrative evaluation of the current district boundaries; statistical analysis of current City Single Member Districts; maps showing current Single Member District boundaries and ethnic minority concen- trations; a personal visit to the city to meet with City Council to discuss initial evaluation and recommendations for conducting public hearings; and, WHEREAS, as directed, the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E. Malone, did execute said contract for such plan of redistricting, which execution should be in all things ratified; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the acceptance of the proposal of Map Resource, Inc., in the form of the contract attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby ratified and the form of such contract is approved; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED; that the execution of the contract attached hereto as Exhibit A with Map Resource, Inc., by the City Manager of the City of Paris, Michael E.
