1,, 24 , 'e verabifif p <br />If any provisions of this Grant Agreement are rendered or declared illegal for any reason, or shall be invalid <br />or unenforceable, such provision shall be modified or deleted in such manner so as to afford the Party for <br />whose benefit it was intended the fullest benefit commensurate with making this Grant Agreement, as <br />modified, enforceable, and the remainder of this Grant Agreement and the application of such provision <br />to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected thereby, but shall be enforced to the greatest extent <br />permitted by applicable law. <br />.1.25 E -Verify <br />By entering into this Grant Agreement, grantee certifies and ensures that it utilizes and will continue to <br />utilize, for the term of this Grant Agreement, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's e -Verify system <br />to determine the eligibility of (a) all persons employed during the contract term to perform duties within <br />Texas; and (b) all persons (including subcontractors) assigned by the grantee pursuant to the Grant <br />Agreement. <br />26 Complimu,e with Federal l.aww, Regulations, and Executive Orders <br />Grantee acknowledges that federal financial assistance funds will be used to fund the Grant Agreement. <br />Grantee will comply with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, policies, procedures, and <br />directives. <br />.1.2 7 Cleaan it Act <br />The following is only applicable if the amount of the contract exceeds $150,000. <br />a. Grantee agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to <br />the Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 7401 et seq. <br />b. Grantee agrees to report each violation to TDEM and understands and agrees that TDEM will, in <br />turn, report each violation as required to assure notification to the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency, and the appropriate Environmental Protection Agency Regional Office. <br />c. Grantee agrees to include these requirements in each subcontract exceeding $150,000 financed <br />in whole or in part with federal assistance provided by this Grant Agreement. <br />1.28 Federal Water Pollution Control ,pct <br />a. Grantee agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders, or regulations issued pursuant to <br />the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, 33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq. <br />b. Grantee agrees to report each violation to TDEM and understands and agrees that TDEM will, in <br />turn, report each violation as required to assure notification to the Federal Emergency <br />Management Agency, and the appropriate Environmental Protection Agency Regional Office. <br />c. Grantee agrees to include these requirements in each subcontract exceeding $150,000 financed <br />in whole or in part with federal assistance provided by this Grant Agreement. <br />1,29 .Stislaei?sion and Debarrra��ri <br />a.
