Robert Talley stated owner is present. Receive complaints monthly at minimum. <br />Have run off several renters due to sub -standard condition of property. Owner <br />has stated trying to sell property. Missing and deteriorated wood along bottom <br />of west side and other areas of house. People were living in garage, which is <br />illegal. Has been boarded up by Abatement Crew to try and keep people out of <br />house. Junk and rubbish in yard and inside. Unsecure; broken window and <br />front door. 2 sections of house beginning to separate due to foundation damage. <br />Electrical service to house is non-compliant. Hole in roof. Water damage <br />inside. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />Owner: Marilyn Dyke, 731 3`d SE, Paris TX 75460. Agree needs to be demoed, <br />but not financially able to do so. "Renters" were people allowed to live there who <br />said they were going to do repairs, which did not happen. Have not been <br />collecting rent. <br />Discussion: Not sure how long electricity has been off. Building permit <br />has expired. Property is on list for the Home Program grant, which would not be <br />affected by any BSC orders. Fire damage throughout house. Roof beginning <br />to collapse. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />
