Public hearing was declared open. <br />John Ankrum, City Building official, presented the case on behalf of the applicant <br />to the Board speaking neither in favor nor against the variance. <br />No one else spoke in favor or opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Ruth Ann Alsobrook, spoke in favor of the fence stating that there are similar fences <br />on the same street already so she is not opposed. <br />Jerry Haning, spoke in favor of the fence but wanted to ensure that the proper steps <br />would be taken so that the fence did not cross any neighboring property lines. <br />Motion was made by Brady Fisher, seconded by Ruth Ann Alsobrook to approve the <br />variance to Section 11.5-3(b)(1)(a) of the Zoning Ordinance. Motion carried 4:0. <br />4. Public hearing to consider and take action on the petition of Raymond Jones <br />on lot PT of 6-7-8, City Block 4, being located at 2830 E Cherry Street. <br />The petition requested variances of Section 9-200 Area Regulation of the <br />Zoning Ordinance 1710, which provides as follows: <br />(1) 9-201 (1) Schedule minimum lot widths -Residential districts <br />SF -2 Zoning requires single family a minimum of 60' lot width <br />The applicant is requesting a variance of 9' to reduce the required lot width from 60' <br />to 51' to at 2830 E Cherry. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />John Ankrum, City Building official, presented the case on behalf of the applicant <br />to the Board speaking in favor of the variance and stating that the lot is a lot of record <br />that has previously had a house on it without being platted, but will be required to <br />have the lot platted before he can build. <br />No one else spoke in favor or opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />
