RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO FILL TWO VACANCIES, AN EXPIRED TERM AND AN UNEXPIRED TERM, ON THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 16 OF THE CITY ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE CITY'S POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR STANDING BOARDS, COMMISSIONS AND COMMITTEES; APPOINTING TO SERVE AS A MEMBER FOR A TWO YEAR TERM ENDING ON JUNE 30, 2022 AND _ TO SERVE AS A MEMBER TO FILL AN UNEXPIRED TERM ENDING ON JUNE 30, 2 02 1; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section 16-100 of the City of Paris, Texas Zoning Ordinance No. 1710 states in part that the Board of Adjustment shall consist of five (5) members, each to be appointed by Resolution of the City council for a term of two years and two (2) alternate members for terms of two years; and WHEREAS, currently the Board of Adjustment has two vacancies; and WHEREAS, the vacancies are for a two-year term ending on June 30, 2022 and for an unexpired term ending on June 30, 2021; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Board of Adjustment: appoint to serve a two year term ending on June 30, 2022 and ..........................................................„m,.,.m,.m,.,.,.mm to serve the unexpired term ending on June 30, 2021.
