A <br />motion to remove the item from the table should be made in order to pass on the <br />withdrawn petition with no action. Since the petition has been withdrawn, no public <br />hearing is necessary.) <br />A Motion to remove this item from the table was made by Francine Neeley, seconded by <br />Cody Adams. Motion carried 6-0. No further action to be taken as this item was <br />withdrawn by the applicant. <br />5. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Joel Scottfor a <br />change in zoning from a Light Industrial District (LI) to a One -Family Dwelling District <br />No. 2 (SF -2), in the City of Paris, Block 101, Lot 6A & 7, LCAD 15544, located at 940 W <br />Campbell. <br />Easton states Joel Scott is requesting a zoning change in order to build a single-family <br />home on the subject lot. The property is located on the north side of Campbell Street <br />approximately 400 feet from the railroad tracks. Properties in the area are currently used <br />for single family dwellings, however the current zoning is industrial and commercial. The <br />existing zoning is likely due to the proximity to the railroad tracks, such that industrial <br />type developments would have direct access to rail. However, a number of homes have <br />been built over the years, making the area more of a neighborhood than a commercial <br />district. The comprehensive plan calls for all of this area to be low density residential. <br />Staff believes this is an appropriate zoning change. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />Joel Scott, applicant spoke of in favor of the petition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Tylesha Ross, seconded by Austin Anthony. <br />Motion carried 6-0. <br />6. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Candra Wyatt on <br />behalf of Red W Leaf LLC for a change in zoning from a Central Area District (CA) to a <br />Central Area District (CA) with a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for a Tattoo Shop, in the <br />City of Paris, Block 6, Lot 7, LCAD 13657, located at 114 SE 1st. <br />
