Carla Easton: Structural engineer stated it's not an immediate threat, but they <br />would do an analysis. But nothing has been done to date. Recommended it be <br />closed off to pedestrians. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Take no action on this item. <br />Motion made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Pat Conrad to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried. 5-1. Ken Kohls voted nay <br />because he would like to know the purpose of the wall. What's the use in <br />keeping it. <br />J. 2380 Beverly; Hillcrest Block 2, Lot 4 <br />Owner: ACDC Rentals, 832 CR 32260, Sumner TX 75486 <br />Robert Talley stated no contact with owner. Burned in March 2020. Extensive <br />fire damage. Deterioration along roof. Unsecure. <br />Appears to be leaning, which would indicate foundation damage. Rotting <br />around chimney. Owners have inside cleared out and want to start repairs. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Repair within 30 days, or back to BSC. <br />Motion made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Mike Folmar to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 <br />O. 537 Grand; City Block 124, Lot 6 <br />Owner: Mark Martin, 1995 30th NW, Paris TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated has been in contact with owner, who is a truck driver. <br />Agrees needs to be demoed, but would like time remove his belongings. <br />Informed him of what the recommendation would be. Porch beginning to lean, <br />foundation damage along west side. Roof deteriorating. Unsecure. Missing <br />and deteriorating wood along bottom. Beginning to lean/sink. Evidence inside <br />roof is leaking. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />
