Motion carried unanimously. 6-0. F. 941 Cedar; Gibbons Park Block 4, Lot 29 Owner: Sandra Smith, 941 Cedar, Paris TX 75460 Robert Talley stated shed in back yard only. No contact with owner. Roof has collapsed. Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or city has right to do so. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 G. 705 E Austin; City Block 109, Lot 4 Owner: Michael Shauchunas, PO Box 171375, Irving TX 75017 Robert Talley stated City recently abated illegal dumping and tall grass at this property. Structure is unsecure. Owner responded and has made arrangements to pay liens. Would like to table until July 2020. Owner could not be here, but wants to repair structure. Has been in contact with City Building Official. Roof is leaking. People have accessed structure and left rubbish. Porch has collapsed, but piers are still in place. Joists still there. Robert Talley's recommendation: Table until July 2020. Discussion: Would like to see repair orders. Feel house has been in disrepair too long to allow owner more time. Motion made by Ken Kohls, seconded by Mike Folmar, to demo within 30 days, or city has the right to do. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 H. 255 1St SW; City Block 178-A, Lot 1, 2, 4 Owner: We Reit, PO Box 876, Paris TX 75461 Robert Talley stated this is the wall located between Phat Phil's old location and South Main Iron. Received complaint about safety. Asked for structural engineering report from HWH. Real Estate Manager for HWH provided letter from engineer stating is it structurally sound. HWH already has plans to take down the top layer to get it down to 3 bricks. Has not been presented to HPC.
