Bluff National Register District which is a federal designation. This is the first step in becoming a locally protected <br />landmark district. With the designation, owners will be eligible for fagade grants as well as monitoring of the <br />district. 4) Downtown Christmas tree lighting will be November 21st along with the new landscape lighting. It may <br />be a virtual event. 5) Congratulations to Glee Emmite for being named the "Texas Downtowner of the Year" by the <br />Texas Downtown Association. This state-wide award is in recognition of all of her contributions to the growth of <br />downtown Paris through service and business development as well as personal business ownership downtown. 6) <br />Plans are in progress to place a QR code scan sticker in the windows of downtown businesses for use on the Distrx <br />app. 7) A training session is planned for 6:30-8:30 PM, November 191 for downtown business owners to learn how <br />to navigate the Distrx app and add info to their own business spaces. 8) The Farmers Market will continue a mini - <br />season through the holidays into the new year. The market will be open 11 AM —1 PM on Saturdays. 8) A Main <br />Street logo t -shirt will be researched as an item to sell as a fundraiser. 9) 102 Clarksville Street has been purchased <br />and is now undergoing renovations. 10) Due to COVID guidelines, Small Business Saturday will be observed as <br />previous years with a virtual drawing for the winner who will go to the store to pick up the prize. 11) Main Street <br />board members will make magazine Christmas trees for sale as a fundraiser. <br />8. With no other business, Glee Emmite made a motion to adjourn, second by Emily Temple, motion carried.
