• Glee Emmite — 1) HPC will meet at 4 PM, December 9th. Ellen Green has bought 102 Clarksville St. <br />The renovation will include 2 business at street level with 2 lofts above. 2) PDA will meet at 6 PM, Monday, <br />December 141 in the space at the back of 129 Lamar Ave. New officers will be elected. <br />6. Coordinator's Report — Cheri Bedford discussed the following. 1) There are 4 renovation projects for HPC to <br />discuss. 2) The Christmas tree lighting was a virtual event on FaceBook. The fountain light project is completed. <br />3) For information purposes, there is a homeless man downtown. He has been approached with offers for help but <br />refused. Please call the police if any problems arise with any person in the downtown area. 4) All money raised <br />from events and projects are together in one account. 5) A working meeting for the board will be scheduled in the <br />month of January. 6) Cheri looked at the Distrix app for Mesquite while in the area. She sees it as a great tool for <br />tourists while in Paris. 7) Small Business Saturday had twenty businesses participating. Three hundred downtown <br />dollars were given away as part of the promotion. 8) City offices will be closed December 24-25, 2020. <br />8.
