<br />EASEMENT <br /> <br />FOR 16 INCH TREATED <br /> <br />WATER TRANSMISSION LINE <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />That CAMPBELL SOUP COMPANY, a New Jersey corporation, of Camden, New <br />Jersey, authorized to do business in Texas ("Campbell Texas"), for and in <br />consideration of the sum of ONE OOLLAR ($1.00) cash, and other good and valuable <br />considerations, to them in hand paid by the CITY OF PARIS, a municipal corpora- <br />tion of Paris, in Lamar County, Texas ("Grantee") the receipt and sufficiency of <br />which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby sell, give and grant unto the Grantee, <br />and its successors, an easement to construct, reconstruct, repair and maintain, - <br />an underground 16 inch diameter treated water transmission line, under the <br />following described land: <br /> <br />BEING a strip of land 20 feet in width, containing approximately 43,100 <br />square feet (0.9B9 acres) more or less, and located within the Corporate Limits <br />of the City of Paris, County of Lamar and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin <br />Russell Survey #786, and being a portion of the following tracts of land pur- <br />chased by the Joseph Campbell Company; 6 acres from J. B. Holley, recorded in <br />Volume 360, Page 98; 6.481 acres from Paris Industrial Foundation, Volume 359, <br />Page 270; 2.836 acres from Granville Farmer, Volume 360, Page 102; 35.532 acres <br />and 117.777 acres from Fred Council, Volume 359, Page 272, of the Lamar County <br />Deed Records, and being 10 feet either side (measured perpendicular to said <br />center line) of the following described center line: <br /> <br />BEGINNING at a point in the South Boundary Line of said Campbell 6 acre <br />tract as recorded in Volume 360, Page 98, said point being North 89 degrees 44 <br />minutes East, a distance of 553.2 feet from the Southwest corner of said 6 acre <br />tract; <br /> <br />THENCE North 1 degree East, a distance of 55 feet, more or less, to an <br />angle point; <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br />
