<br />continuation page 15c <br /> <br />Kinds of Data to be Collected: <br /> <br />Performance records: all items as indicated in Section I of the Progress Report- <br />Project Goal Achievements, with the exception of U.S. Border interdiction arrests; <br />all aspects of Section II - Progress Report Narrative; all records, receipts and <br />information as dictated by Guidelines for Control and Use of Confidential Funds; <br />records of expenditures and all financ1llr data requirecr1ro~reporting to the Crim- <br />inal Justice Division; records of contacts and leads provided by Task Force members <br />and Director, Advisory Board and any other affiliated or outside sources; and any <br />and all additional records or reports devised in the future by CJD as a result of <br />additions to or modifications of existing reporting procedure. <br /> <br />Other Participating/Cooperating Organizations: <br /> <br />We are and will continue to be assisted in information gathering by Lamar County <br />Crimestoppers, an anonymous tips operation, the Task Force Advisory Board (City Attorney <br />and two County Attorneys), officers whithin the three participating agencies, U.S. Drug <br />Enforcement Administration, DPS Narcotics Service, the Criminal Justice Division and <br />other Task Forces throughout the state. The above-mentioned law enforcement agencies <br />do and will provide direct assistance and back-up as well as will agencies in Hopkins, <br />Titus and Franklin Counties should we contract with them. <br /> <br />Geographic Location: <br /> <br />Lamar and Red River Counties in northeast Texas, at present, with probable expansion <br />into Hopkins, Titus and Franklin Counties. See map, Attachment 15a. <br /> <br />Accomplishments to Date: <br /> <br />Number of personnel assigned to unit: 04. <br />Number of investigations opened: 200. <br />Number of convictions obtained: 03, <br />Number of years to which offenders were <br />sentenced through convictions: 12. <br />Number of investigations closed: 66. <br />Number of investigations pending: 134. <br />Number of felony arrests effected: 60. <br />Number of misdemeanor arrestseffected: 06. <br />Number of defendants indicted: 40. <br />Number of defendants receiving probation: 02. <br />Number of defendants receiving prison terms <br />at TDC or federal prison: 01. <br />Number of asset seizures or forfeitures: 04, <br />Number of eradication efforts: 20. <br />Number of drug delivery cases filed: 31. <br />Number of aggravated possession cases filed: 02. <br />Number of clandestine labs seized: 04. <br />Stolen property recovered (value): $40,000. <br />Number of felony indictments expected <br />in January: 100-plus. <br />
