MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />PARIS TEXAS <br />JANUARY 28 2021 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Airport Advisory Board was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chairman Scott Avery. <br />Members present: Ray Ball, Jim Bell, Anna Spencer, Scott Hearne and Zachary Ebbs. Jeff <br />Sugg was absent. <br />City Representatives: Paula Portugal, Mayor Pro-Tem/Council Liaison; Stephanie Harris, <br />City Attorney; Janice Ellis, City Clerk, and Derek Dacus, Engineering Tech were present. <br />Also present was Jerry Richey, Airport Manager. <br />2. Citizens' input. <br />Although no one spoke at the original call for input, per request, prior to discussing item 5 <br />Mr. Avery moved back to item 2. Collin Hadley stated that he moved into Hangar B-9 after <br />purchasing Aaron Hiller's airplane. He stated that he had been told by various parties that <br />the hangar generally went with the purchase of the airplane. As board members responded, <br />City Clerk Janice Ellis reminded them discussion of this item would be in violation of the <br />Open Meetings Act. She said this matter had been turned over to the City Manager and <br />City Attorney and was being reviewed. Some discussion of the item continued and the <br />board were again reminded that this could put them in violation of the Open Meetings Act. <br />It was requested that this be brought up on the next agenda. <br />3. Consider approval of minutes from the meeting of October 22, 2020. <br />A Motion to approve the Minutes was made by Jim Bell and seconded by Anna Spencer. <br />Motion carried, 6 ayes ® 0 nays. <br />
