<br />3. Representatives of the DISTRICT and the E.M.S. <br />shall meet as often as necessary to study the <br />Health Occupations Program and terms of this <br />Agreement and make such suggestions and changes as <br />are needed. <br /> <br />4. It is understood between the parties that under no <br />circumstances is any member of the DISTRICT'S <br />Student Body or Faculty to be considered an agent <br />of the licensed employee of the E .M. S. Should <br />said student be instructed to perform or assist in <br />the performance of a function of duty or licensed <br />or designated employee, it must be carried out <br />under the direct supervision of said licensed or <br />designated employee who is an agent of the E.M.S. <br />which assumes responsibility. However, the intent <br />of this program is to be observation only. <br /> <br />5. The DISTRICT conforms to the health requirements <br />of state and local governments with regard to <br />students and faculty. (A tine/PPD test is a <br />requirement along with a letter of verification on <br />file in the City of Paris, parental signed and <br />notarized consent form. Students and faculty are <br />financially responsible for their Health Care. <br /> <br />6. It is a requirement that the liability insurance <br />covers each student and faculty member and a <br />letter is on file with the City of Paris stating <br />such. <br /> <br />7. This Agreement provides for continuing communi- <br />cation between the service unit and the district <br />as it is necessary to provide optimum experience <br />for student learning. An annual evaluation and <br />review of this Agreement is expected. Either <br />party may discontinue this Agreement upon six (6) <br />months written notice to the other; however, this <br />termination should only occur at the end of an <br />academic semester in which students are regis- <br />tered. The party desiring termination shall <br />arrange for a conference with the other partic- <br />ipating agency. <br /> <br />8. In keeping with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act <br />of 1964, no person shall on the grounds of race, <br />sex, color or national origin be excluded from <br />participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be <br /> <br />2 <br />
