Unless notified by your supervisor, you are to report to work on all regularly scheduled days, <br />regardless of weather conditions. If you are unable to report to work due to weather conditions, you <br />must notify your supervisor as soon as possible. <br />In the event that the company closes due to severe weather conditions or another reason, you will <br />not be required to report to work. <br />Em:2!9yee Benefits <br />The following is a list of benefits that Richard Drake Construction Company, LP makes available to <br />eligible employees. The descriptions in this handbook are a summary only. The separate plan <br />documents explain each benefit in more detail and the language of the plans' documents controls <br />the various pians. Benefits may be modified, added or terminated at any time by the insurance <br />company or benefit provider, per the terms of the plan, or by Richard Drake Construction Company, <br />LP, at its discretion. <br />Benefits Eligi1.bility <br />Full-time employees who have successfully completed the evaluation period are eligible for the <br />benefits outlined below. Part-time employees (regularly scheduled for less than 35 hours per week) <br />are not eligible for these benefits. <br />Breaks in Service <br />Unless prohibited by F.M,LA or other applicable employment regulation, any absence from the job, <br />other than a pre -approved short-term leave of absence, for a period of 30 days or more will be <br />considered a break in service. Following a break in service, an employee will be considered a new <br />applicant for purposes of job placement, benefits accrual, drug testing, etc. To clarify, if an <br />employee is absent from the job for 30 days or longer, he or she will "start over" as a new employee, <br />will be required to go through the hiring process, including pre-employment substance screening, <br />and will be subject to the various benefits' elimination periods. <br />Vacations <br />Vacation time is offered to full-time, eligible, hourly employees at the rate of 40 hours per year <br />beginning in the second year of employment. Vacation hours will accrue at the rate of 0.77 hours <br />per week worked. <br />Vacations are earned from hire date anniversary to anniversary. Vacation time must be scheduled <br />and approved in advance by your supervisor. Richard Drake Construction Company, LP will not <br />carryover any unused vacation time from one year to the next, unless required to do so by law. If <br />approved by the employee's supervisor, the Company will pay accrued vacation wages in lieu of <br />vacation time off. <br />IN <br />
