SPECIAL MEETING <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF PARIS BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TUESDAY APRIL G 2021 6 _ 21 <br />.� _n..� .,., <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />The Board of Adjustment meeting was called to order by Ruth Ann Alsobrook at 12: 04 p. m. <br />The following members were present: Ruth Ann Alsobrook, Jerry Haning, William <br />Sanders and Larry Walker. <br />Also present were Roger Colson, Andrew Mack, Stephanie Harris; Grayson Path and <br />concerned citizens. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (January 5, 2021) <br />Motion was made by Larry Walker, seconded by Jerry Harting to approve minutes for the January <br />5't', 2021 meeting. Motion carried 4:0. <br />3. Public hearing to consider and take action on the petition of Vickey Ladell, on Lot 11, <br />Block 5, of Harlan Heights Addition, being located at 1024 NE 14th Street. <br />The applicant requests a variance of Section 9-201 Area Regulations of the Zoning <br />Ordinance 1710, which provides as follows: <br />9-201 (1) Schedule minimum lot width -Residential districts <br />SF -2 Zoning requires a minimum of 60' lot width. <br />The applicant is requesting a 10' variance to reduce the required lot width from 60' to 50' at <br />1024 NE 1411' Street. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />Roger Colson, Building Official, presented the variance request to the board. Roger stated that the <br />lot is simply an existing lot that does not meet the required width, so the variance would be required <br />for the applicant to build a single family home on the lot and the City recommends approval. Board <br />Member, Larry Walker, asked if the house is still requires to meet the required side yard setbacks <br />to which Roger confirmed it is. <br />
