Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2021-009: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PROCLAMATION DECLARING <br />THE MONTH OF APRIL AS FAIR HOUSING MONTH; DECLARING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Regular Agenda <br />14. Discuss, conduct a public hearing, and act on an Ordinance considering the petition of <br />Rebecca Haralson, Executrix of George Jennison Estate for a change in zoning from a <br />One -Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to an Office District (0), in the Morningside <br />Estates. <br />City Manager Grayson Path said that Rebecca Haralson was at this meeting and was <br />requesting a change in zoning from a One -Family Dwelling District No. 2 to an Office District. <br />Mr. Path also said the City had received a protest of this zoning change and it reached the 20% <br />threshold. He explained in order for this to be approved, a super majority of the Council would <br />have to vote in favor of the zoning change. Mayor Clifford said since the full Council was not <br />present, he wanted to table this item to the next meeting. <br />
