Robert Talley stated that the owner, Jimmy Lane was present and would speak to <br />the commission after his presentation. Robert stated that the house had roof <br />damage, was unsecure, had foundation damage, and the shed in backyard was also <br />substandard. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />Owner/Representative: Jimmy Lane stated that he wanted to demolish the <br />house, but he needed more time because he was doing it all by himself. He also <br />stated that he wanted to repair the shed. <br />Discussion: The commission discussed giving Mr. Lane 90 days to demolish the <br />house and repair the shed. <br />Motion made by Josh Jones, seconded by Pat Conrad, to give 90 days to <br />demolish the house and repair the shed. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 <br />A. 141 NW 12th; City Block 59, Lot 19 <br />Owner: Larry Grinstead <br />Robert Talley stated that Mr. Grinstead agreed that the structure needed to be <br />demolished and signed a right of indemnification. <br />B. 634 NE 14th; Hicks 1st Block 4, Lot 8 <br />Owner: Albert & Hetrolia Edwards <br />Robert Talley stated that he's had no contact with the owners. The house has <br />extensive fire damage and is unsecure <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demolish within 30 <br />days, or city has right to assess civil penalties. <br />Motion made by Carlton Cooper, seconded by Kim Walker, to accept Robert <br />Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 <br />C. .627 Pine Bluff; City Block 64-B, Lot 5 <br />Owner: Yvonne Carrillo <br />Robert Talley stated that he has had no contact with the owner. Stated that the <br />structure was pulled by HPC and given a 180 extension. 180 days is over, so it is <br />now being presented to the commission. The house has fire damage, roof damage, <br />and is unsecure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or <br />city has right to do so. <br />Discussion: The Commission discussed the 180 day delay and why HPC pulled the <br />
