12. Eric Clifford — Hangar C-1 has had no aircraft stored for approximately 6 months and has <br />personal property unrelated to aviation purposes (furniture, bicycle, plastic storage <br />containers, etc...). <br />13. Cody Stephens — Hangar B 11 has someone else's aircraft and no insurance. <br />14. Kenny Turnipseed — Hangar I-3 has personal property unrelated to aviation purposes (sofa, <br />ottoman, metal chairs, etc...), and has no insurance. <br />Ms. Ellis stated that the violation notices for each of these went out on June 16th, 2021 and the <br />tenants have until July 15th, 2021 to correct the defaults or the eviction process will be started. <br />Mr. Ball thanked Ms. Ellis and staff for the thorough report, and said that it's the best thing he has <br />seen in many years and is a step in the right direction for the airport. <br />Ms. Ellis said the lease that the board approved made it much easier to enforce the rules and make <br />sure everyone is treated the same. She also thanked Mayor Portugal for her support and efforts <br />regarding the necessary changes for the airport. <br />Scott Hearne asked about the frequency of future inspections, to which Ms. Ellis stated they would <br />most likely occur quarterly. <br />8. Receive FBO report. <br />Airport Manager Jerry Richey stated he would be helping out staff during his transition and hopes <br />it goes as smoothly as possible with a date of September 1, 2021 being his end goal, as that is when <br />his insurance coverage expires and also coincides with the City's budget. <br />Ray Ball thanked Jerry for all of his work for the airport. <br />9. Items for future agendas. <br />Ray Ball asked for a follow up on the violation notices that were posted on June 16th, <br />Mr. Avery asked for an update on the CARES Act reimbursement status. <br />Mr. Ball also asked for updates on new hangar construction <br />Ms. Ellis stated there would not be a meeting in July, so the next meeting will be held on August <br />19, 2021 and there would be something special for Ms. Anna Spencer. Ms. Ellis also stated that <br />new board appointments would be made on June 28th. <br />10. Adjournment. <br />A motion to adjourn was made by Ray Ball and seconded by Scott Hearn.
