<br />RESOLUTION NO. 87-081 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has <br />undertaken a project of construction entitled 24th Street <br />S.E. Water Main Improvement Project in accordance with plans <br />and specifications prepared by the Engineering Department of <br />the City of Paris; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said easement will serve the additional <br />purpose of housing a gravity sewer line providing service to <br />the US Army Reserve facility and will assist Paris Indepen- <br />dent School District in providing fire protection for the <br />Paris High School facilities; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />completion of <br />hereto; and, <br /> <br />the easement descriptions necessary for the <br />said project are shown on Exhibit A attached <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above <br />described utility and drainage easements are necessary for <br />said improvement project and that the same should be <br />condemned; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, That the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes, be, and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to proceed with eminent <br />domain proceedings to condemn the above described property <br />to be used for 24th Street S.E.
