discussed putting this item in their report to the City Council. Ms. Harris suggested it be part of a <br />Charter review in five years. Mr. Lindsey said he wanted to put their recommendation in a letter and <br />let the Council decide. Following additional discussion, Mr. Edmonds said they would have to come <br />up with the language. <br />A Motion to change the districts to six districts with the election of a mayor at -large was made by <br />Chad Lindsey. Chairperson Putnam asked for a second. Reeves Hayter said he was thinking about it. <br />Subsequently, Mr. Hayter said he wanted to table this item until next time and it was a consensus to <br />do so. <br />Mr. Edmonds said there were no perceived variances or issues with Articles I and lI, and asked if <br />there were any questions. There were no questions. <br />Mr. Edmonds moved to Section 21 (2) Powers and explained this was out of date language and <br />staff had provided the language. There being no changes, a Motion to approve this item was made by <br />Chad Lindsey and seconded by Kenneth Webb. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Edmonds moved to Section 38 Disabled employees, pensions and insurance and explained <br />this was out of date, and that Gene Anderson had provide the language, which reflects what is being <br />done. Reeves Hayter said this was a lot of information and he did not receive the agenda and he <br />wanted to table it. Kenneth Webb said he was ready to vote. Following additional discussion, this <br />item was tabled to the next meeting. <br />Lastly, Mr. Edmonds moved to Article IV — the City Manager and said this language was <br />simplifying the section. <br />A Motion to approve the new language was made by Chad Lindsey and seconded by Kenneth <br />Webb.
