This is an adaptive reuse of a former <br />Automotive machine shop being converted to Episcopal Day School. A motions was made <br />by Commissioner Caffey to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness as presented, <br />seconded by Commissioner Vandiver, motion carried. <br />6. Ms. Ellen Green and Mr. Leif Lindblom presented their rehabilitation project on the property <br />located at 648 3d ST SE. Plans are to clean up the property, replace the siding with in kind <br />siding and replace the windows with wooden windows. The property owners are hoping to <br />restore the windows, but if that becomes too costly, they have requested the use of a <br />replacement window. In the event that they cannot repair the windows, they will return to the <br />commission. A motion was made to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for <br />replacement of siding and repair of wooden windows, replacing the rotten windows by <br />Commissioner Coyle, seconded by Commissioner Emmite. Motion carried. <br />T A motion was made by Commissioner Matthews to proceed with following properties being <br />sent to Building and Standards Commission because they are unable to be rehabilitated, or <br />placed on the National Register of Historic places or designated as a Local Historic <br />Landmark.
