Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code, to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property. B. Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code, (1) to discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have located, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting the economic development negotiations; or (2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect described by Subdivision (1), as follows: Westgate Apartments. C. Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code, (1) to discuss or deliberate regarding commercial or fmancial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or (2) to deliberate the offer of a financial or other in incentive to a business prospect described by Subdivision (1), as follows: retail development. Mayor Portugal convened City Council into executive session at 6:42 p.m. IT Reconvene into open session and possible take action on those matters discussed matters in Executive Session. Council Member Pankaj exited the executive session at 7:16 p.m., at which time City Council was to take up discussion about item 16C. Mayor Portugal reconvened City Council into open session at 7:35 p.m. and asked if there was a Motion on item 15. A Motion to approve a Resolution indicating support for the proposed Forestbrook Estates Mixed Use Development to be located at 3375 Jefferson Road was made by Council Member Pilgrim and seconded by Council Member Pankaj. Motion carried, 7 ayes — 0 nays. Next, Mayor Portugal asked if there was a Motion on item 16A to approve a contract of sale and purchase, as discussed in executive session with Maureen Hammond of PEDC. A Motion to approve a contract of sale and purchase was made by Council Member Savage and seconded by Council Member Pilgrim. Motion carried, 7 ayes — 0 nays. With regard to items 16B & C, Mayor Portugal said there was no action to be taken. 18. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to Resolution No. 2004-081.
