THIS AGREEMENT entered into this the __ day of <br />, 1984, between the CITY OF PARIS, hereinafter <br />referred to as "City ", L. P. McCUISTION COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, d /b /a <br />McCUISTION REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER of Paris, Texas, and ST. <br />JOSEPH'S HOSPITAL of Paris, Texas, hereinafter collectively <br />referred to as "Hospital ", whether one or more. <br />WHEREAS, it is agreed by the aforesaid parties to be of <br />mutual interest and advantage to the public that an ambulance of <br />the City with employees of City attendant thereon be located at <br />each of said Hospitals with the said employees of City exposed to <br />a hospital environment and gain practical experience in emergency <br />room care; and <br />WHEREAS, the City on this date authorizes the execution <br />of a Contract to cover such services, <br />THEREFORE, the City on this date effects the following <br />affiliation with the Hospital to place an ambulance at each <br />Hospital's facility with City employees to operate same upon the <br />following terms and conditions: <br />1. It, shall be the responsibility of City to furnish <br />ambulances and equipment and supplies and maintain same. <br />2. The City will schedule employees to operate the . <br />ambulances, pay said employees and said employees will be under <br />direction and control of the City. <br />3. City will establish job requirements for said <br />employees and their manner of conduct. <br />4. The City will be solely responsible for operation <br />of ambulances, including dispatching thereof. <br />5. City will provide liability insurance coverage <br />covering City employees in the same manner as all other City <br />employees. <br />11 <br />
