Specific Responsibilities 2L Hospital <br />1. Full cooperation on the part of Hospital to help <br />insure the success of the program. <br />2. Furnish space for parking the ambulance or <br />ambulances furnished by City at or near its emergency entrance. <br />3. As much clinical experience as possible for the <br />City employees in connection with Hospital's Emergency Department <br />and care of patients therein, said employees to remain in the <br />emergency department area at all times and to be free to leave at <br />any time they are dispatched by the City to carry out their <br />ambulance service. <br />4. Permit the employees of the City to remain in the <br />vicinity of its emergency department while on active duty and to <br />provide sleeping facilities at the hospital while on stand -by <br />duty. <br />1. There shall be special programs and projects from <br />time to time to further the education of the employees but these <br />shall be agreed upon by all parties. <br />2. All employees of City, while carrying out their <br />duties at Hospital, shall conform to all of the rules and <br />regulations of Hospital and shall take instructions from the <br />charge nurse of Hospital or emergency department doctor on duty <br />at the time of administering patient care at the Hospital. <br />3. Hospital will have the right to stop any employee <br />from carrying out an act at Hospital or on its environs that it <br />deems inappropriate. <br />4. An employee of City who sustains an injury in <br />carrying out duties assigned to employee under this Agreement <br />shall have the same rights and obligations under the City's <br />employment policies and Worker's Compensation policies as an <br />employee of the City injured in any other location. <br />5. Any employee of the City assigned to carry out <br />duties under this Agreement will be reassigned by City upon <br />2 <br />
