<br />. <br /> <br />BLACK a VEAT""'i <br /> <br />SECTION II - COMPENSATION <br /> <br />For the services covered by this Contract, the City agrees to pay the <br />Engineer as follows: <br /> <br />A. The City will pay the Engineer for payroll cost plus (salary <br />times a multiplier of 1.25), plus payroll cost times a multi- <br />plier of 0.9. Expenses will be billed on the basis of actual <br />out-af-pocket travel, subsistence, telephone, printing, and <br />other miscellaneous expenses incurred in connection with the <br />services. The maximum amount billed shall not exceed $11,741 <br />without further authorization. The Engineer will bill the <br />City on a monthly basis. <br /> <br />B. For Supplemental Services, actual salary times a multiplier <br />of 2.375 plus expenses. Each item of supplemental services <br />shall be specifically authorized by the City, and a billing <br />limit shall be established before the work is started. <br /> <br />C. It is mutually agreed and understood that the above schedules <br />of fees do not include any allowance for local city taxes, <br />license fees, or special state fees or taxes (excluding state <br />income tax) which may apply to such schedule of fees. Should <br />local taxes or fees be applicable in any regard, it is under- <br />stood that amount of such fees or taxes will be added to the <br />above schedule of fees. <br /> <br />SECTION III - CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will furnish, as required for the work and not at the expense <br />of the Engineer, the following items: <br /> <br />A. Property descriptions when such information is required. <br /> <br />B. All maps, drawings, records, audits, annual reports, and <br />other data that are available in the files of the City and <br />which may be useful in the work involved under this Contract. <br /> <br />C. Access to public or private property, as necessary, when <br />required in conduct of the study. <br /> <br />SECTION IV - OTHER MATTERS <br /> <br />It is mutually understood and agreed: <br /> <br />A. That the Engineer will perform items 1 through 10 of <br />Section I-A of this Contract within the time frame <br />allocated, based on the verbal notice to proceed pro- <br />vided by the City on April 19, 1984. <br /> <br />C-3 <br />
