Mayor Portugal opened the public hearing and asked for anyone wishing to speak about this item, to please come forward. Discuss, conduct a public hearing and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2022-080: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS CONSIDERING THE PETITION FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (LDR) TO MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (MDR) IN THE CITY OF PARIS, BLOCK 112-C, LOTS 7 AND 8A, LOCATED AT 578 S.E. 15TH STREET (LCAD 15790); MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Mack said that the applicant sought a minor amendment to the Future Land Use Map to provide for a medium-high density residential use of the property and for the zoning to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan.
