5. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Ryan Whitaker for a Minor Master Thoroughfare Plan Amendment altering part of the proposed minor arterial roadway section A-3, on.T...CAD Parcel 50201, in the City of Paris, Block 3 1.7, Lot PT 10, A7 Askins Survey., located in the 2300 Block of NE 36`" Street. Mack states this item was tabled at the Commissions October meeting. This is now a moot point since the commission was in favor of the delete all option on the previous item. Staff recommends denial of this change. A motion to remove this item from the table was made by Austin Anthony, seconded by Clifton Fendley. The public hearing was declared open. With no one speaking the public hearing was declared closed. A motion to deny this item was made by Clifton Fendley, seconded by Michael Mosher. Motion carried 5-0. 6. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of the City of Paris for a Minor Master Thoroughfare Plan Amendment altering part of the proposed minor arterial roadway section A-3, on LOAD Parcel 50218, A7 Askins Survey, Tract 8, located. at 2330 NE 36"` Street. Mack advised commissioners this item is also a moot point as the `delete all.' option is recommended for approval but the item needs to be removed fiorn the table and acted upon. A motion to remove this item from the table was made by Clifton. Fendley, seconded by Tylesha Ross-Mosely. Motion carried 5-0. The public hearing was declared open. With no one speaking the public hearing was declared closed. A motion to deny this item was made. by Clifton Fendley, seconded by Austin Anthony. Motion carried 5-0. 7. Public hearing to consider and take action regarding the petition of Brian Wintermute on behalf of Evan .Butler for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment from I..,ow Density Residential (LDR) to High Density Residential (HDR) in the City of Paris, Block 317, Lot PT of 5, A208 Crow Survey, LCAD 126663, located at 4065 Pine Mill Rd. Mack presented the item to commissioners with his recommendation to approve the comprehensive plan amendment. The public hearing was declared open. Casey Gain spoke in favor of the petition. Michael Covington and Josh Brown spoke in opposition of the petition, citing heavy traffic and water shed will be a problem. Mark Hamer spoke neither for or against the petition but request consideration to extend Ruby Way in somehow to work for everyone because it does not make sense to dead-end. With no one else speaking the public hearing was declared closed.
